BURBANK

Burbank was incorporated in 1970 and continues to be a great place to raise a family and establish a business. It is a community of about  28,000 people and covers an area of about 4.2 square miles.  Burbank was incorporated into a city in 1970, partly to resist annexation by the city of Chicago. The city was named after Luther Burbank Elementary School, an institution which had served the area since the 1930s.
